Think Clearly
Choose Wisely
Live Intentionally.

Life can be hard.

We all go through seasons when there are more questions than answers, the path forward feels uncertain, or things aren’t working as planned.

Over time, I’ve come to see that our interpretation of what happens in our lives plays a larger role than we often realize.

It’s not just the thoughts that pass through our minds, but the patterns they form, and how we process what we see, hear, and experience.

That internal process governs how we interpret our circumstances, directs where we focus our attention and energy, and ultimately determines whether our actions are reactive or intentional.

What became clear is that there is a better way to approach it.

And that approach may seem simple, but it’s not easy.

Think Clearly. Choose Wisely. Live Intentionally.

Here’s what it looks like in practice:

A life anchored in truth and aligned with what matters most leads to clarity, consistency, and lasting impact.

I take a values-based, principle-centered, and character-driven approach to life and leadership. Drawing on decades of experience, I help people live and lead with clarity and alignment for greater consistency and long-term impact.

My work goes beyond surface-level change, focusing on how we think, make decisions, and take action.

This extends across the whole of life because the choices we make and the principles and values behind them inevitably carry into all areas of life, influencing how we live, work, and interact with others.

My Why

When a Conversation Can Help

When you’ve been working through something on your own, and it’s still not clear what to do next, it can help to talk it through.

Coaching is a confidential conversation centered on what matters most to you—helping you find clarity, gain perspective, and determine the right next step.

Testimonials

There is no substitute for experience when it comes to life and business. I value Tracy’s experience as much as I do his coaching skills. His intuition and ability to connect with, understand and get to the core of a person, situation or challenge is the key.

Angel Ruiz — Former CEO of Ericsson North America, Chairman of the Board for MediaKind & Executive Coach/Consultant

I strongly encourage you to consider working with Tracy Nowell as your executive and professional coach, based on two incontrovertible facts. First, you almost certainly need a coach. Seventy-five to eighty-five percent of people do. For most of us, a coach is not just a luxury or a nice person to have around. No, a coach is a requirement for us to grow and develop and perform at our best. And secondly, Tracy was born to coach. Coaching is not just a job to him. It’s his calling. It’s his core process. It’s what he does—what he instinctively loves to do. That’s the kind of coach you want on your team!

Bill Hendricks — President of the Giftedness Center, President/Co-Founder of Giftedness Guides, & Executive Director of Christian Leadership at the Hendricks Center at Dallas Theological Seminary

My coaching experience with Tracy Nowell has been one of the best things I have done for my personal and professional life. I have clarity about how to approach my business that I did not have a year ago before I started coaching. I have a confidence level that I don’t remember having before. Tracy has a calmness about him, and he is so intuitive that he is able to help me dig deeper to find out the core of my needs. Tracy is an excellent coach, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Connie Meadors — Land & Water Team with Keller Williams Realty

Developing or coaching people successfully in business requires good communication, people skills and patience. Tracy excels in these abilities. In addition, and equally important, he cares about people and enjoys using his knowledge, experience and skills to help them.

Don Gardner — Serial Entrepreneur

Being able to work with Tracy has been very rewarding. I’ve learned how to communicate clearly and challenge my team while being realistic about the work I could take on. Tracy has helped me to reflect on my leadership style and identify areas for improvement. He is a phenomenal listener and gave me fantastic tips to improve my performance. He's also helped me realize what I wanted to achieve in my business and personal life.

Dustin Wynn — Southwestern I. T. Field Services Manager, HomeServices of America

One of the most influential people in my life, as I was starting my IT business, was Tracy Nowell. During my over 25-year relationship with Tracy, he has helped guide and direct me in business matters. At critical points in my career, he had “real” conversations with me, both supporting and challenging me, which helped me grow into a better business owner and leader. I appreciate all he poured into me and owe a lot for the wisdom he has shared over the years. If you are looking for a coach with professional business acumen, then Tracy Nowell is your guy.

Dwight Tutton MIS, CSM — Founder/Owner, One Eighty IT, LLC

Working with Tracy has been a transformative experience for me. The coaching process helped me address numerous challenges in both my professional and personal life, allowing me to identify and set clear goals. These goals, both large and small, have empowered me to make confident and secure decisions about my future. One of the most notable changes I've seen is my increased ability to navigate complex situations and make informed choices. The coaching sessions provided a safe space to talk through challenges and big decisions, which helped me gain clarity and perspective on the best paths to take. The most valuable aspect of the coaching experience was the ability to discuss my challenges openly and see things from a new viewpoint. The flexibility of the sessions, combined with the consistency and accountability, were crucial elements that contributed to my success. What made the coaching relationship work for me was Tracy's approachable and understanding nature. The supportive and non-judgmental environment they created allowed me to explore my thoughts and feelings freely, leading to meaningful progress and personal growth. I highly recommend Tracy to anyone seeking to improve their professional and personal life.

Emily Sparks — Sales Leader, Ebby Halliday Companies

I have worked with Tracy for decades. He is the consummate professional. Tracy has been very successful in multiple markets, is an excellent leader, and knows how to communicate with people at all rungs of the corporate ladder.

Jerry Dever — Web Designer & Project Manager

I have to admit that coming into a coaching scenario wasn't on my top 5 things to do in 2022. In fact, I have had to admit that pride played an important role as I cast doubts on taking this course because Jesse was always right and always had to do things his way!!! He preferred working alone. He also didn't like taking advice from anyone. But Tracy had something about him that helped me take a deep dive into problems I didn't even know existed in me. His calm demeanor and expertise allowed me to really open up. The results have been transformational. I am a completely different person. I became the de facto leader of my area of influence. I am more collaborative and becoming the employee my superiors need me to be. Most importantly, I found out that people are a gift and a wellspring of knowledge. It is in this that I found true success and I can't wait for more.

Jesse Flores — Facilities & Construction Manager, Ebby Halliday Companies

At times in your life, certain events happening to and around you can cause you to wander off your path. You lose a sense of direction, your vision becomes blurred, and your focus escapes you - all while trying to figure out what steps to take to find your path again. You need help finding your way back. You need a voice you can trust. Tracy is my voice! His life experiences, faith and coaching skills have helped me to see more clearly while personally discovering and dealing with the obstacles in my way so that I could find my path again. Thank you, Tracy.

John Hassell — Member of the Debbie French Real Estate Group with Ebby Halliday Realtors

Tracy is an incredible career coach. I began meeting with him right around the time of a substantial and unexpected increase in my job duties and responsibilities which left me paralyzed, figuratively speaking. Through our discussions I was able to recognize and appreciate my strengths that helped me get to that point in my career. In addition, he helped me define my fears and struggles and gave me new strategies and perspectives to help me combat them. Those techniques have served me well, not only in the business world, but also in my personal life.

Lauren Rockford — Lead Architect, EQT Corporation

Time efficiency is so important to one's career and personal life. We have so much to do in so little time! Time is so scarce when you are caught up in the whirlwind of daily life. The time to work on evaluation and changes for myself just never seemed to present itself. Once I decided to take the time that I deserved to work with Tracy, I immediately felt like I had more of it. I find myself feeling "stuck" or "unhappy" with my choices and circumstances at times because I take pride in following through on my commitments. It can be frustrating to go through the motions with no passion. Tracy has a way of working through those layers with you until you find the light. If you are a business professional looking to enhance your attitude, goals or even career choice, why not invest in yourself by reaching out to him? I highly recommend Tracy Nowell!

Natalie Thomas — Sales Leader, Ebby Halliday Companies

This experience has been nothing short of life-changing, both personally and professionally – my only regret is that I did not start this process sooner. Tracy's methodology, mindset and approach has an incredible way of shifting the way you think about – and ultimately process – perceived problems or shortcomings. Deep down, I think most of us know, at least to some extent, how to fix what's "wrong." Whether that's making changes to existing systems, adapting personal strengths or overcoming personal shortcomings – the source of stress is irrelevant. Tracy has an incredible way of helping you define what's actually happening both internally and externally and does so in such a way that the issues can be quantified, analyzed and ultimately corrected. When you approach problems in this manner, the majority of mountains are truly molehills, and you wonder why they were such an obstacle in the first place. For the first time in recent memory, I feel proactive – like a leader – rather than reacting, panicking, or responding to issues that, in hindsight, feel largely insignificant. I am recommending his services to both my colleagues and team leaders internally, and I can't recommend him enough as a whole. If you feel the need for coaching – and the reality is that we all do to varying degrees – Tracy Nowell should be your first and only call.

Remington Reece — Creative Director, Ebby Halliday Companies

My wife, Karen, and I were blessed to be the top-producing team in our MLS and our market for many years. While I had an extensive background in commercial real estate and Karen had some residential experience, I had no residential experience when we decided to head in that direction. Johnson Monroe, Realtors and Tracy Nowell had an excellent reputation and were the best in the business, so we met with Tracy to explore. We found him to be an excellent, motivated individual and began our career with him. Tracy's knowledge, experience and guidance proved to be invaluable in the development of our 23-year career (21 with Johnson Monroe) in real estate. At the time, we did not realize that we were continually being coached by a natural, but it truly made a difference. Personally, we cannot recommend him enough.

Stan & Karen Fernald — The Fernald Team, (Formerly with Johnson Monroe, Realtors), Ebby Halliday Real Estate

I highly recommend Tracy Nowell as an executive coach for any professional eager to enhance their leadership skills. His coaching style provides a perfect blend of challenge and support, and his genuine desire to help others succeed is inspiring. Working with Tracy has not only improved my strategic thinking and decision-making abilities but also significantly boosted my confidence as a leader. For anyone looking to elevate their executive presence and impact, Tracy is an exceptional choice.

Steve Smith — Vice President, Marketing Ebby Halliday Companies

Looking back, I entered the coaching program with Tracy not truly understanding the role of coaching. Yet, I learned so much from our work together…about coaching and about myself. Tracy has a very gentle way of coaxing out of you all that stands in your way from becoming the executive you have the potential of becoming. I was able to explore my style, expertise, personal needs, and professional goals. This process ensured that my success was beneficial not only to my organization and my team, but also for my family and, of course, me. Tracy's coaching process and style helped me identify what works for me and what doesn't. It helped me make decisions about eliminating what wasn't working. This used to be difficult for me - someone who always wants to say "yes." I have learned that not every request warrants that response. And that has made me better at what I agree to take on. I've learned to do more refined analyses of my performance so that I continue my growth. And, while I am doing a great deal, each area fits more seamlessly into my life because it serves my goals more effectively. All of this has helped me to be a better leader - able to cultivate a stronger team, committed to the mission and able to pursue their own growth goals.
